The well attended AGM took place in the Richard Willoughby Room at The Bude Heritage Centre. The day started with a fascinating presentation by Chris Jewell (Chair of the Trustees) on the Sea Lock.
After a Buffet Lunch the business of the AGM took place and Five new Trustees were welcomed to the Society. This brings the total to ten Trustees. Voted on to the Society were Mr Mike Coulson, Mrs Viki Herbert-Coulson, Mrs Sandy Faulkner, Mr Tim Martindale and Mr Stu Spooner. The new Trustees bring a variety of skills and experiences to the Society and we are delighted to welcome them on board.
There followed a brief question and answer session and discussion on the way forward for the Society over the next couple of years when some very important milestones will be celebrated. Chris then presented Betty Moore with a thank you for all her hard work as she was now retiring from the Committee.
